I get a lot of interesting reactions, the most common of which is usually something like, oh, I could

never do that. I'm not flexible at all. Or, oh, that's cool. I love yoga. And to this day,

people who know me very well still often refer to me as a yoga teacher. I don't blame them,

though. There are a lot of misconceptions about Pilates and the Pilates method and what it really is and what makes it unique.
