people cannot be trusted with power. Now, when I say power in this sense, I can mean it in the way

that most people talk about it, which means having a big influence over other people and being

more significant in the eyes of the general

population. Most of the time, when someone calls a person powerful, usually means they are well known.

They have some level of significance in some space. They have a perceived level of influence.

And for whatever reason, you believe this person can get certain things done that maybe the

average person or anyone else simply could not get done for, again, whatever reason.

So that's the sense that most people are talking about when they say power, but also mean

power in terms of having influence and say over the things that happen in your own life.

Most people cannot be trusted but having influence over their own lives is what I'm saying

here. I'm going to explain exactly what I mean by this here today. I'm going to tell you why

we all want at least the level of power that is personal, meaning control over our own

situations, let alone over anybody else, that most people are

unqualified to have it. Yes, you heard me correctly. Even though we all want to have power

over our own situations, most people are unqualified to have power even over their own situations.

And I'm going to explain to you what this means and how somebody could be unqualified to have power over in their own situation, which seems to not quite make sense.

But of course, as I do every single day on the show, I'm going to make sense of it.

Point number one, today's topic once again is why most people cannot be trusted with power.

Number one, power is a magnifier.

And most people don't have enough of their shit together to where they should even want power because you know what power does ladies and gentlemen i just told you are you listening power is a magnifier all power does is magnify what was already there you often hear people say this when they're referring to money people the, the same way that I'm using power here, you often hear people acknowledge as money. They'll say all money does is magnify you. So if you were a jerk and then you got a whole bunch of money, then you're just going to be a bigger jerk. If you are a good person and then you got a whole bunch of money, then you're going to be an even better person. All the money does is magnify you and who you are and it takes all the stuff you are already about
