thinking about like, okay, when do I really need true support versus like sometimes things happen

at work in this career. And I'm like, I'm not going to tell him about that. Like he doesn't

really get it. He doesn't really care. You know, he just doesn't. So it's like use the right people,

like put the right people in the right seats for your life, like where you need support.

Like you have to have more than one person. It could never just be your partner.

I'm Amy. And I'm Abby. And as women, we are constantly comparing ourselves to others.

But your life isn't supposed to look like hers.

choose what life looks like for herself. So in a recent episode, we were talking about

something we've talked about often is how in relationships, long-term relationships, sometimes

there is an argument that just you can't really settle it.

It's ongoing.

You probably bump into it all the time.

It's just something that you probably have to learn to live with.

And so today we're going to talk about where we struggle in our

relationships and where, in fact, we're probably just stuck. Because I think what happens is we

marry this person and we're so excited and it is great. But getting married doesn't really

change who they are. And of course, as people we

evolve and we grow and we should be learning. But at the end of the day, if someone came with something

that is just kind of who they are, it's going to be really hard for them to change.
