I was telling Abby last night. I said the thing about motherhood that you do hear, and it's like a

famous quote, is, and I won't get a perfect. And shout out to who said it first, because I have no

idea who you are. It's like basically the beautiful thing and the heartbreaking thing is that

the stage you're in is never going to come back.

I'm Amy.

And I'm Abby.

And as women, we are constantly comparing ourselves to others.

But your life isn't supposed to look like hers.

Being your best self means standing firm in your decisions and always being willing to grow with a purpose. We get vulnerable and real with an honest look into the challenges

and triumphs we all face. Every woman listening gets the opportunity to choose what life looks like

for herself.

We are really excited about this episode because we decided to do an episode about what we wish we would have known 10 years ago.

We decided on this episode for a couple reasons.

Number one, Abby, at the time that this release is, if not 40, really near 40. So it's kind of a turning

into a fresh decade. We also both became moms just about 10 years ago. Both of our oldest

Lucy just turned 10. Max is almost 10. So 10 years of parenting.

And it just felt like the time to do it that this episode were really coming from a place where we've been we've been through a few things in the past 10 years.

But looking back, one thing that we also talked about when we were planning it is even if we would have listened to this episode 10 years ago, we would have never gotten this decade perfect.

Part of life is learning from what you do and your choices and your relationships.

And there's no way around that.

Like you have to go through it. So we are going to impart wisdom on you.

But of course, we've made mistakes. We're all going to make mistakes. Like that's just the way of life.
