I did. It's just if someone came up to me and said, hey man, make a Mario movie where everything is directed by a studio or board of directors.

Yeah.

Tell me what would be in it. And this was from start to finish exactly what a board created, group tank Mario movie was.

But is that better than like an offensively bad Mario movie where they don't understand what Mario is?

I don't know because for the market, yes, it's making a shitload of money and overall it's very popular and I enjoyed it. It was a fine watch.

It's fun.

But if you compare it to say, for example, the like 80s Mario movie, the live action one, which was just a confusing awful mess, that one is just far more entertaining as a product.

You know what I mean?

I, well, that's a bit of a wild take there. I don't know.

I'm not saying it's better. I'm saying that the fact that exists is far more interesting than this movie.

Well, it existed. It only, it wasn't like a decision really. It only existed in that capacity because it's all they could do.

Like they couldn't do animation the way that they currently do it.

So they could have done a TV and a movie made a movie just fine. What are you talking about?

Well, that would have been, that probably would have been more expensive, right?

Not, not, I haven't seen, I haven't seen the 80s Mario movie. So I'm not going to talk out of my ass, but I thought it was like somewhat low budget.

Is that the correct?

No, it's really not.

It's very 90s. I'm pretty sure 90s. It's not important when it came out.

The point, the point is that the current Mario movie is paint by numbers from start to finish.
