what is anxiety page and it is a graphic of the anxious dozen and I posted this

in the Facebook group a few days ago and a lot of people commented on it as if they had not seen it.

So I wanted to bring it up here on the

the graphic has been on the website for a year and a half or so and it is I believe it is on the what is the anxiety page

and so what it is is there's I have 12 behaviors that I'm going to outline and these can signal that our anxiety is beginning to bubble up and it's not the behavior that needs to change so much, but what is driving the anxiety to cause these

behaviors?

These are behaviors that are clues to us that our anxiety is is coming up and maybe we're dealing with a little bit too much on our plate right now

and the behaviors are symptoms. They are not the problem. So we often address these 12 issues as if we're dealing with them. We're going to tick these off one at a time.

We're going to beat these or we're going to change these behaviors and then all will be

well. But that's not how it works. We want to look at these as these are the fruits of the

anxious tree. And what we want to do is we want to get to the root and stop

feeding these fruits or these behaviors. So let's go through them

quickly and then we'll pick a few depending how much time there is to talk about them. The anxious dozen I have the first one as seeking

reassurance. The second one trying to stop your thoughts.
