film, we explore its themes, the history, the filmmaking and the influence it has on us

today. My name is Steve Morris, I'm a film maker and directing instructor in Los Angeles,

California. Hello, my name is John Roca, I am a writer, producer and host and voiceover

artist in San Diego, California, and Steve, I am so excited for us to be jumping into this

movie, which is my favorite James Bond movie, and I can't wait for us to pick it apart

and hear what new tidbits of research and facts that you have to give to us as we go along

well, first of all, I hope that I can deliver on the facts and tidbits, I hope I have some

good ones for you. I know that art is a subjective thing and film is subjective and we can't

objectively say what is or is not the best of anything except that I will say that objectively

it is not just your favorite Bond film, it is the best James Bond film. Wow, that is my

statement. And what I actually mean is like everybody's going to have different favorites,

like Spiral Loving is always going to be special to me because that is my first James Bond film.

I would never say it is the best James Bond film, but it is very special to me. But in terms

of just top to bottom, the quality of the way this is made, I would find it hard to argue

that there is a better James Bond film. I am sure there are people who have their cockles

up, who are massive James Bond fans, who are our listeners, who are maybe countering

it and go, no, I think it is Dr. No, or what we just did the watch long of

from Russia with Love, is that right? Yeah, I want to say that again.

Yeah, no, no, I like it. I don't mind stumbling in these. Okay, yeah.
