| 0:06.0 | podcast. As always, I'm your coach and host Josh here with his motivated co-host and co-coach |
| 0:12.6 | KG and I'm in the house. And we're coming at you with 20 ways to get and stay motivated. We did an |
| 0:20.3 | episode on this a while back and it was an |
| 0:22.3 | absolute banger. I know it helped a ton of people. So these are 20 unique and fresh ideas to not |
| 0:27.6 | only just get motivated, but to stay motivated, just stay hungry. And hey, you know, right now I know there's |
| 0:33.3 | an interesting time of year, kind of fall, you know, it seems kind of chill and cozy and, you know, maybe you're getting back into your grind, back into your rhythm. So I think there couldn't be a better time than to jump into these tips. Let's like Kyle, jump right into Numero Uno. Yeah, so number one is just simply asking yourself what the right choices and constantly make it. And I know it sounds a little |
| 0:54.6 | either too good to be true or a little too obvious, but if you kind of always have in the back |
| 0:58.9 | of your head when it comes to, you know, either fighting procrastination or getting your workouts in |
| 1:03.6 | or eating healthy, like what's the right choice? I truly believe that as you constantly continue |
| 1:09.1 | to make the right choice over and over, you continue to build that habit and it just allows you to constantly stay fired up. It's something that helps me a ton and I truly believe it can help a lot of you as well. Yeah, this is a big one. Honestly, like it just makes it that much easier when something becomes a habit, when it becomes consistent. It takes a lot of the guesswork out of it, you know, and when you ask self with that right choices that also makes it easier you know a lot of the time i challenge myself to say you know have the higher level thinking to do the right thing like in the moment it's so much easier to just order that junk food and eat it but you know you feel worse after you know you're wasting money you know it like uh even i did a story |
| 1:44.6 | recently on how i meal prep on sundays and a lot of time i don't want to do it i'm not going to lie it's zero desire to cook like oh this is going to be so annoying i don't want to go to the grocery store but i know when i do it the next four days of preps are so much easier the guest work is out So I'm so happy Kyle brought that up. |
| 2:01.2 | That is such a big one. |
| 2:02.1 | Don't overlook that. |
| 2:03.0 | That's why I had to add on to it. |
| 2:04.6 | Number two. are so much easier the guesswork is out so i'm so happy cow brought that up that is such a big one don't overlook that's why i had to add on to it number two is a big one as well and that's just involve your friends and family i find people get the most fired up in particular some of my clients they'll say to their you know sister the brother hey you want to come to the gym with me you want to get at it or a friend or anything like that. |
| 2:34.7 | You know, when you do it with other people, when you involve community, when you involve family, it really does make it that much easier, especially when something's harder. You know, if you have big goals, you want to lose weight, you want to get money. You know, tell people, you know, announce it, make it real. Bring it out into the world and makes it that much easier. Yeah, and even just think about like your workout. |
| 2:34.7 | Like, you know, if you're with a buddy who's, you know, just you're going to challenge each other. bring it out into the world and makes it not much easier. Yeah. And even just think about like your workout. |
| 2:50.5 | Like, you know, if you're with a buddy who's, you know, just, you're going to challenge each other and you're by yourself, like which one's going to be more motivating? I think the answer is pretty obvious there. It just makes it more fun as well. When it's more fun, you can become more motivated from it. And number three is just breaking your goals into more manageable tasks. |
| 2:53.5 | I feel like sometimes we have such massive goals. |
| 2:51.2 | Like, you know, for me, I've kind of really started thinking |
| 2:55.5 | about my three year goals, three to five year goals, but then I also break it down into yearly |
