There are certain events in history and in our lives that the details of it are really complex.

Who did what to who? What happened?

Take the history of Israel and Palestine, for example.

There is minimum 130 years history there if you really want to understand the breadth and depth

of the conflict and all the events that have happened and the different peace talks and

the figures involved and it's a complicated history.

But that doesn't mean that it's a morally complicated history.

The history of Israel-Palestine, it is genuinely very convoluted.

You know, you have different factions, different ideologies, different attempts at peace,

different breaking of peace, who struck first at a certain time and a certain conflict,

and things like external support from places like the UK and the United States. And if we had

many, many hours, we could talk about it all. But at the same time, the conflict isn't morally

complicated. You have one side which is much more powerful than the other, which has total air,

land, sea, and intelligence dominance, which is much more powerful than the other, which has total air, land, sea,

and intelligence dominance, which is holding the other side in what's been called an open-air

prison and over the last year has been engaging in the systematic destruction of the places

that they live with bombs dropped from the air, shells shot from the ground.

They've been denied aid.
