metaphors that get thrown around a decent amount.

Something along the lines of

we as people, we're authors of our own book

and we're the star of our own movie.

You heard these things before?

I have, yeah.

And they...

when you hear them, when I just said them,

and even the way I said them, they seem kind of trite

and they seem cliché and I guess they are,

but like many clichés, they are true in many ways.

And there's

an analogy in those statements with the idea of

extreme ownership.

Take ownership of your life.

That's the similar to, hey, you write your own book.
