Hey, it's Antrice and welcome to another episode of the Savvy Painter Podcast.

The New York Times ran an article recently about a couple of innovative

galleries who fused art shows with the taco truck craze. When I posted about

this on the savvyvy Painter Facebook page, I realize that I am not alone in my fascination with this idea.

It's an innovative, clever way to bring art to neighborhoods without galleries. These galleries are

taking advantage of low overhead and bringing the art to the people. You might say

that they are bringing the mountain to Muhammad Muhammad as my friend Errol Gerson suggested

we do in episode 24 of the podcast.

I reached out to Brenda Scallin, who's the founder of one of the galleries featured in the Times article.

Three years ago, Brenda bought a 40-year-old airstream off Craigslist.

She restored the trailer and turned it into the caravan gallery, and now she hosts a traveling art exhibit.

I am a huge fan of road trips, so the idea of merging the icon of the highway with an art show immediately peaked my interest.
