The thing that's going to talk about to down this podcast is I just want to you know I want to get back to our roots here and talk about the non-existence of selfhood if I might if I may.

Yeah, it's just something I was talking about yesterday and I got me thinking and just really enjoy thinking about it and thinking about the utility of it.

You know, it's interesting that so many people that come up with the refined

the idea of selfhood in Buddhism. They typically like look at it from a pretty

negative perspective.

You know, they think about it.

I think it's because we're ego of creatures, of course in America,

like Western cultures, you know, capitalistic cultures, that we're

the consumers of our own identity in this weird way.

It's like we're marketing ourselves as humans and even I think

within our sense of self there's this level of materialism which we're scared to not be attached to.

I can say a lot more than that. And maybe I will later, let's find out what happens. But of course these are symptoms of our culture, which are based on materialism and on desire and status and whatnot. And we can't see the removal of a thing as good thing in this culture.

It's very difficult for us to say that.

You know, years ago, whenever I was creating this album,

I thought, I was trying to think of a word that described a space

that existed without anything inside of it.

I thought about it for some time.

I just couldn't seem to find a word in English that describes that.
