0:38.0	My name is Steve Morris. I'm a filmmaker and directing instructor in Los Angeles, California.
0:43.0	Yeah, I just survived some epithets and some bullets to getting here.
0:46.0	So I'm totally in the mood to go into the season of Quentin Tarantino for sure.
0:53.0	A filmmaker that I just remember being so life-changing, I guess, for lack of a better term or high-opening.
1:03.0	In my experience back in the 90s and independent film, Steve, we love doing these seasons of directors.
1:11.0	And I think this one is going to be an unusual one for both of us to dive into.
1:15.0	We've got some great guests and some great conversations to be had.
1:19.0	I absolutely agree. And I mean, I don't think he's necessarily my favorite director of the last three years,
1:24.0	but there is a very strong argument that he is among the most important directors of the last 30 years.
1:30.0	100%, 100%. And by the way, this is John Roke. I'm a writer producer and host and voiceover guy down here in San Diego, California.
