Saturday morning when I woke up, when I turned on my cell phone, the first notification that I saw was from my indoor security camera.

So that camera showed my former pastor coming up from the basement, the door leads into the kitchen, coming into my kitchen, using his flashlight on his phone, and just standing in my

kitchen. Before we get started, we want to let you know that this story is too layered and too

intense to contain in a single episode. To do it justice, we're bringing it to you in two parts. In today's episode,

you'll hear the events that led up to Marie's stalker being arrested and the moment everything

Before all this began, how would you have described your life and your sense of safety in the world?

Before my experience, I would say it was more stable and more secure. I didn't have complete security because of a

divorce I'd been going through, but it was definitely more of a sense of security that I had.

And I just, I had a lot of goals. I was working towards and just working a lot and parenting and prioritizing my children

and spending a lot of time with them and enjoying life in the world was not super safe,
