Lindsay, before we get started, what are your pronouns? She heard. Thank you so much. I'm so excited to talk to you because this is not my first time hearing your voice.

And I feel like a lot of people, especially people who maybe are Doomscroll see her. Thank you so much. I'm so excited to talk to you because this is not my first time hearing your

voice. And I feel like a lot of people, especially people who maybe are doom scrollers like me,

have probably come across your face and your voice before, have probably seen you on social media

where you put out a lot of really, really cool, really funny, really engaging zoology content. Lindsay,

what got you into zoology? First off, thank you for saying that. I'm glad you like the content.

Of course. So I originally got into zoology when I was like 18. So kind of a bit later on,

you know, I wasn't like a super zoology kid, but when I was in high school,

I was obsessed with lions. I would fall asleep listening to videos, you know, YouTube videos on

lions every night. And I came across this video to volunteer at a lion sanctuary or a big cat

sanctuary in South Africa. And I was starting my senior year and I needed

to do a senior project where I did like an internship at the last three weeks of my senior year.

And I was like, what if I went to South Africa and did it with Lyons? My school approved it.
