Our conversation today was recorded several months ago before any of us

knew what was on the horizon with COVID-19. I think God's timing is always perfect, and what

you're going to hear is so relevant for us today with so much of our lives at a standstill

and just feeling uncertain. I sat down with my friends Hannah Nitz and

Tricia Lott Williford for a conversation about waiting. Waiting is something none of us likes to do,

but what does it look like to do it well? I think a lot of us lead lives that are so busy,

we don't know how to wait, we don't have time to wait, we don't know what it looks like to slow down.

Or when you're tired of waiting, how do we express gratitude accepting what the Lord has

done for us while we wait for the things that our hearts are looking for?

And we'll also talk about what to do when you get to that point where you think you just

can't wait another day, and maybe that's where you are today

Well, I would probably have to say that this generation, this is a guess, in all of history,

is going to be a dramatic sentence. Yes, it is, you're ready?

It's probably like the worst waiters in history, like ever. Yeah. Yeah. Would you agree with that? I would, and I think they can't help it. They've been born into an instant society. They don't even know what it's like to wait. They just don't know. Yeah. They don't know how. They don't know how. We. We. True. But it's worse for our kids.

It is.

I just read someone's Instagram bio the other day and it says, I want it all and I want it delivered.

And I just feel like that is the mantra of life right now.

That is what we're living in.
