We wanted to re-release this conversation with my friend Jonathan Dardy, who does a fantastic job helping us understand what's going on in the

heart and the mind of a person who's addicted to pornography. Within the past month, we've seen a

dramatic increase in pornography use. Many people have learned to depend on porn as an escape

for boredom, anxiety, loneliness, and really any negative feeling.

And the COVID-19 crisis has created, in some ways, a perfect storm of stress and isolation

that will lead many to turn to sexual outlets like pornography.

And Christians are not immune from this temptation.

In this Java conversation, Jonathan and I address how pornography appeals to very legitimate

needs and longings that we have.

How our familiarity with the brokenness is more comfortable than the thought of freedom

we might know we have in Christ.

And we'll also talk about elements of how a husband and wife can work together to address

sexual addiction and porn use.
