Summary

We get a lot of questions in our free Facebook groups or in DM's about creating social media content and what type of content you need to create to attract your ideal client. Before I give my opinion on a student's content, I need to know what the intent behind the post was. If there is no intent, that's where we need to start. I'll share with you the 3 types of social media posts, the intent behind them, and how to use them strategically. Next episode I will cover one in depth so stay tuned for that!

So the customer journey, it looks like this. If you were like looking at a graph of the customer journey, there's one, two, three, four, five, six, seven points. And those points range from stranger to raving fans. So let me just run down them real fast. You take someone from a stranger to a suspect, to a follower, to a prospect, to a lead, to a client, to a raving fan.

0:22.5

And every single person who ever buys your service, by the, you know, by the time they become

0:26.9

a client, they buy your service by the time they become a raiding fan, they're on another side.

0:30.7

They have to go through every single one of those.

0:34.7

Yo, what is up?

0:35.8

And welcome back to the FitBiz podcast. So have a good punchy little episode for you here today where I'm going to talk about the three intentions of your content. So there are really three different types of content. Some are made specifically to get clients and some are made to do other things.

0:54.8

And all three are extremely important.

0:56.4

So let me start, let me start off with this.

0:58.9

So I think this comes up a lot on IFCA calls because people, I'll do content audits for

1:05.5

people or just kind of like leave the door open for that.

1:08.5

And I'll get asked a lot, is this a good post?

1:11.4

Can you look at this post?

1:13.4

And I can't ever answer that without context and knowing what the intent was the post.

1:19.6

So this is something that we teach to our students and something for you to think about when

1:23.8

you're looking at your content.

1:24.8

So there are three intentions of your post.

1:32.1

One is to build authority. So this is how you get people to trust you. One is to build connection. This is I get people to know and like you. And then one is to make an offer. And this is

1:35.9

how you get people to take action. Once they already know, no like and trust you, right? That's how

1:40.4

you get them to buy. So we're going to go into three, to the three of those today. I'm going to explain the difference. I'm going to give some examples of each and really just kind of explain why every single one of them is important. So what it really comes down to is it depends on where someone is in proximity. That kind of depends on what type of content you need to be speaking to them. So the customer journey, it looks like this.

2:02.6

If you were like looking at a graph of the customer journey, there's one, two, three, four, five, six, seven points.

2:08.6

And those points range from stranger to raving fans.

2:12.6

So let me just run down them real fast.
