I'm doing fantastic today. We have such a great conversation with a friend of old that

I think everyone's going to enjoy and you're looking chipper. You're looking like you got

up on the right side of the bed. How are you today? I'm doing great. Thanks a lot for asking Lance.

And yes, I'm very excited to speak with our old friend, the one and only Bill Thomas.

He hosts a podcast called Mind Over Murder that is on the crawlspace media network, which is our

podcast network, Lance. And he is one of the main advocates for the colonial parkway murders.

And Bill's sister, Kathy Thomas, was a victim of the colonial parkway series of murders.

Bill and his co-host Kristen Dilly. And every week they have thoughtful advocacy-based conversations

about true crime. It's kind of a refreshing change of pace from the typical true crime content

that's out there. And Lance, this is going to be broken up into two parts mainly because we

can't sit down with Papa Bill and have it after recording last for less than an hour. So we kind

of knew that going into it. And we definitely goof off a little bit in the beginning. We talk about

crime con 2022. So if you don't want to hear that, you can skip forward. But I do recommend it

because it is hilarious to us. You're right. It's a great way to set up the conversation. And it's a

good example of the interaction that we have with Bill where we can have these comedic moments and

then slip into these serious moments and then go back to these comedic moments. He had this moment

at crime con that you need to hear about. And that's what we discussed in the beginning where

he was missing. Our other friend, Rebecca Sebastian, who hosts dialogue and yellow tape true crime

trivia was very concerned about him. And this incident played out at crime con where Bill Thomas

was missing. Thankfully, and obviously he was found. But it all was an incredible moment. And we
