0:50.3	Well, I did get a lot of sleep last night, Lance. Maybe that's why I'm so chipper this morning.
0:55.9	But also, well rested is what I meant to say. Yeah, yeah. But also I'm really excited
1:00.4	to talk to our friend, our old friend Maggie Freeling. She's an investigative journalist
1:06.4	and is it something about an award that she won recently?
1:10.0	I think she won something like an Oscar. Yeah, it was like best performance in a docus
1:16.0	series, an unlimited docuseries or something like an Oscar or daytime Emmy maybe.
1:21.8	Well, it's actually the Pulitzer. She won a Pulitzer prize. Only the Pulitzer prize.
1:28.3	So we cannot let this opportunity pass without talking about it and joking around with
1:34.3	her about it for at least five to 10 minutes in this episode.
1:38.8	Yeah, I mean, in all seriousness, the Pulitzer prize as we describe in this episode is probably
1:45.9	if not arguably the most coveted award a journalist can receive in their field. And we know

2:03.3	and beyond the call of duty, what she does for wrongfully convicted people, what she does
2:09.4	for the true crime community itself is remarkable and herself and Swade Gonzalez and the entire
2:16.9	team at Futuro totally deserve that Pulitzer for their podcast Swade.
2:22.2	Amazing to hear Maggie describe what it felt like when she learned about winning the Pulitzer
2:27.1	and just how surreal that is as a journalist. I have nothing and I don't know about you,
2:32.6	but I can't compare it to anything. I don't know what could possibly happen in my life
