| 2:56.0 | So with the colonial parkway murders, which you have are four double homicides that took place in and around lovers lanes near Williamsburg, Virginia from 1986 to 1989. |
| 3:10.0 | And there are some patterns that emerge. So it'll just give you a little bit of an overview. These are all couples in cars in isolated rural locations typically seen as lovers lane kind of situations. |
| 3:27.0 | What's interesting though is that several of the couples probably are not couples per se and we'll talk about that as we kind of go through the cases. |
| 3:36.0 | The first case is October 1986. My younger sister Kathy Thomas who was 27 and her girlfriend Rebecca Dowsky, who was 21 are out on a date on a Thursday evening. |
| 3:52.0 | They go missing that that Thursday evening. This is near Williamsburg, Virginia. The last place Kathy and Becky are seen is at the College of William and Mary, where Becky is a senior. |
| 4:07.0 | And it appears that Kathy and Becky ended up on the colonial parkway, which is this 23 long mile ribbon of land along the York and James rivers near Williamsburg. |
| 4:22.0 | And it appears that Kathy and Becky went there to be romantic and they don't know exactly what transpired, but Kathy and Becky are found brutally murdered on the following Sunday. So you're looking at about two and a half days span between the time they went missing on Thursday evening and their bodies are found in my sisters Honda Civic along the York River. |
| 4:49.0 | And they were following Sunday and in Kathy and Becky's example without getting too graphic. |
