supporting me and especially for supporting episode 300, which was a milestone episode. It's a lot of episodes, but here we are as promised with episode 301.

1:08.0

We're moving forward. Not a day missed. I love doing this. I love doing the podcast and today I've got a really good episode for you that I think will be helpful if you're frustrated by other people.

1:21.0

You know, other people, especially in dating. I think this will be helpful in your life if someone has let you down, disappointed you, lied to you, even ghosted you, left you, broke up with you, changed their mind, and so on and so on.

1:37.0

So as probably just about everyone and now that I think about it because I mean these things are things that happen every single day when it comes to relationships when it comes to dating, right?

1:48.0

You meet someone, you get along, you click, things are looking good, great even, and then seemingly out of the blue, out of nowhere, whether it's after one month or even after six months or even after a year, that person pushes you away.

2:04.0

That person ends it. That person says it's on me, but we need to stop. They give you some BS line about not being ready about needing to figure out what they really want.

2:15.0

You know, something about needing to love themselves first your grade. I'm just not ready. That kind of that kind of line. And whatever it is, it's the direct opposite of what they've been saying and doing previously.

2:28.0

It's like a complete 180 from either what they said or how they acted in the months prior. And that leaves you being like, what the heck does happened? Where did this come from? And was it something I did? What exactly happened here?

2:44.0

And then maybe unfortunately this happens to you a couple of times and you start to like really get fired up about this. What is wrong with people? Maybe start to blame yourself.

2:54.0

Whatever it is either way you end up frustrated because people say one thing they act one way and then sometime later they seemingly change their mind like out of the blue. There's like, nope, I'm out. Thank you. Goodbye.

3:09.0

And that really sucks. Of course, that really, really sucks. There's nothing worse than potential that is never met. There's nothing worse than having your hopes up and investing your time and energy and vulnerability with someone else only then to have it thrown back at you in a way that just seems so like cavalier and so abrupt.

3:31.0

Right. It's like a it's like an old man trying to send back soup at a deli. It's just it's just a rude and it's a complete 180. And so I wanted to give you my thoughts on this on why people push people away in relationships. Why would someone push you away?

3:47.0

And by proxy, why sometimes we ourselves do this? Why we push other people away? People who we know are good for us. So I'm going to hop right into this and give my quick thoughts on why people push people away.

4:02.0

And you can use this to better understand people in relationships and also yourself in the process. So before I do quick request that if you enjoy the podcast that you just take 30 seconds and share it sharing is really the only way that a podcast can grow. And I am beyond thankful that so many of you do and so many of you do it so often. So thank you for doing that.

4:24.0

And also if you haven't already, I'd love it if you would subscribe on Spotify specifically, I'm going to be pushing more and more people there. I'm really enjoying the Spotify podcast experience. So thank you for that. And lastly, as always, thank you for visiting new minds at who this calm picking up a journal or two.

4:42.0

That means the world to me. So thank you for that. But I'm done with my small request onto the topic at hand. I'll start with the headline here.

4:51.0

Why do people push away? Why do people push away when things seem great? Why would someone push you away when they're clearly is a vibe that clearly is a match they're clearly is potential.

5:02.0

Well, in my mind, as much as it is tempting to either think it's your fault, right, that you said something you did something that you fell short in some way.
