Summary

0:49.7	interest in becoming a social worker, or was that something that came later on? It was something I always
0:55.5	wanted to do. I can remember being in like early elementary school and just seeing like the
1:01.3	school guidance counselors like helping my peers and just just really loved helping people and
1:07.2	like I felt that whole to to when I thought was a guidance counselor at that age. And then just when I graduated high school, it was just like a straight arrow of, you know, I want to be a licensed clinical social worker. I want to work with people. And what are the staff to kind of get me there? I never thought of another career to be totally honest. It was just this is what I want to be.
1:28.5	So after high school, I went to college where I majored in social work. So I graduated, I think it's
1:36.2	like 2011, maybe. I'll go with that with my bachelors in social work. And then after that,
1:41.9	I got a job as a case manager, which is where this kind of story starts.
1:48.7	I did that for about two, three years and then decided that I wanted to pursue my master's on
1:54.0	social work. So I did. What is case management entail? So case management is where you're working with individuals who have a
2:03.4	chronic and persistent mental illness, ranging from, you know, mild depression and anxiety,
