Hello, dear listener! Welcome back to the 30-day authenticity challenge.

On this podcast, I often talk about the importance of being authentic. Of being yourself in every situation, with every person.

So, during the course of these 30 days, we'll do the inner (and outer) work of becoming more authentic and expressing our true selves - without feeling like we need to hide who we are.

Episodes will go out daily until we complete the challenge.

Your task for today, DAY 16, is to reflect on this prompt: what do I believe would happen if I stopped focusing on making everyone else happy and started meeting my own needs?

external world, which I hope you did do. I hope you were able to do that. And I asked you to explore

the three essential qualities of your authentic self, So who you really are beyond any kind of

idealized version of who you think you ought to be or should be. Of course, now the work

includes as you move forward, mindfully and consciously expressing more of those three qualities in your

life. This will allow you to live more as your authentic self until eventually that is all that you are.

Because anything that is a facade or a mask or a pretense or just not a reflection of who you truly are

is going to naturally fall away. Today for day 16 of the challenge, I think we need to talk

a little bit more about making other people happy at the expense of yourself.

This is such a common pattern for many of us highly sensitive, empathic,

considerate, highly conscientious people.

Sometimes we live mostly or only for others, making sure they're taking care of, that they

are fed and content, that they are comfortable with the temperature around them, that they have
