we're going to talk about a question that some form of this question gets asked every single day, whether that be on

the Instagram or Facebook or email, YouTube, whatever.

And that is just some question about how to water a plant or if a plant needs water or how do I know if I over watered.

And so what we're going to talk about just off the cuff here are some things to keep in mind.

So hopefully you don't need to ask a specific watering question

because you have the knowledge about how plants use water, what affects water

uptake, all these sorts of things so that you can sort of answer the question yourself with this base of

knowledge which is sort of the whole goal of Epic Gardening is giving you the tools to know how to grow stuff without having

to need a specific answer for every little thing.

And so I'm going to let Stephen kick it off with just some basic considerations

when it comes to watering your plants.

So in my opinion, the most important way to learn how to water correctly is observation and experimentation.

And I know that's kind of like a, you know, not the answer everyone wants to hear, but if you really want to get good at

taking care of plants it really takes going outside every day and looking at the

soil looking at the plant looking at the color of the leaves looking at the soil, looking at the plant, looking at the color of the leaves, looking at the perkyness of the

leaves, if they're drooping at all or if they're sticking straight up like they're looking
