Welcome back and this is the final podcast.

At least for the time being with Stephen Cornette of Nature's Always Right Farms.

He is here and we are going to talk a little bit about the farmers market.

And so the two things we're going to talk

about number one is is for those of you who shop at farmers markets which let's be

honest it's probably most of the people listening to this podcast if it's not why

don't you go shop at one what's's wrong with you? Go do it.

We're going to talk about how do you know if someone is actually the farmer? If they're selling what they're

growing versus someone who's a reseller who's buying from a distributor and trying to take advantage of consumers like you who

want to want to believe that you're supporting a local farmer but maybe you're not and so we're going to talk about that and then we're going to talk if you're a producer, how do you make the most of your time at a

farmers market?

Because time as a farmer is not your friend.

We often don't have a lot of it, especially when you're starting out.

And so how do you make the most of the time you're spending in a market?

So the first thing, I'm going to bring Stephen in and he's going to talk about

some questions you can ask your farmer to see if they know what they're talking about and if they answer them in the

wrong way maybe they're not the person that's actually growing the food.

So I've been shopping at soft farmers markets for around seven years now and more recently I just became a certified producer to sell my produce at the

farmers markets so I've got a pretty good amount of knowledge from the consumer side and

from the seller's side.
