producer, and friend Cody Thompson, how you doing Cody?

We're excited about this podcast.

I think this is going to be the most fun one to talk about.

It definitely is for me.

It's called the danger of avoiding

conflict right and why there's too little of it we're gonna go into a bunch more

about conflict absolutely people don't like conflict I mean everything that I see tells me that there's not

enough of this in most organizations and most people say what do you mean you

want conflict? We're talking about good healthy conflict, not mean spirited conflict, good healthy conflict and

and very few companies I've worked at have even close to enough conflict

and that there's a lot of reasons for that.

You know, it's a real problem though,

and people misunderstand this issue.

And I think the first thing we need to do, Cody,

is talk about why it's such a problem that there's not more of it because there's a huge

cost in our organizations and in society when we don't have enough conflict.

Right and not just on our teams but in our families and other arenas in our life.

Conflict is generally thought of as a bad thing

and we're here to kind of make the case for the opposite.
