So today, in continuation of our mini series on three qualities of a godly husband, today we're doing number three, the third quality,

which is he loves, a godly husband loves. So why is this a quality of a godly husband, Dr. Kim?

You know, I think it's such a model of Christ because how much of he loves us, that love is really

everything.

One of the things that I've done a number of times in wedding ceremonies is to have it.

First Corinthians 13, we hear a lot.

And I've asked the guy, I'll take that lot and i've asked the guy i'll take that scripture

and i'll put the guy's name in the place of the word love and so instead of saying love is

um kind and generous and all the different things it says in there i'll say bob is these things

and i think if as a guy if you could just take the time and read through 1st

Corinthians 13, and every time it says the word, I'll put your name in there. And then not to make

you feel bad because you're not living up to that standard, but to say, God, build those things

into me, build those things because those are the things that that will make you a godly husband.

And it's such a, that definition of love that Paul gives us there is, I mean, it's one that's

lasted forever. And I think you see Christians and non-Christians using that in their,

in their weddings just because it's such a great description of what the word love is.

Yeah, that's good.

I love that.

I love that idea.
