The Manhattan District Attorney has agreed to postpone Donald Trump's sentencing to give

them time to litigate the president-elect's expected motion to dismiss the hush money case.

Prosecutors said they'll oppose that motion and suggested that the judge give them until December 9th

to respond. However, the DA's office says Trump's hush money conviction should stand. A source close to

the DA's office says they're open to putting the case on hold for four years. Trump's lawyers are

likely to file a response and then the judge will decide what steps to take. In a statement,

Trump's spokesperson called the file quote, a total and definitive victory for President Trump.

President-elect Trump is expected to nominate Cancer Fitzgerald's CEO Howard Lutnik as

Secretary of Commerce. That's according to two sources familiar with the process.

Lutnik has served as the co-chair of Trump's presidential transition team since August

and had been in a

battle with hedge fund manager Scott Besson over the role of Treasury Secretary. The move surprised

several people in Trump's orbit, as there were other candidates vying for the job. Here's CNN's
