More than 1.3 million people are believed to have been displaced from Rafa to other parts of Gaza in a span of six weeks.

That's according to UNRRA, the United Nations Agency that coordinates aid for the

Palestinians.

The agency also says 193 of its staff members have been killed since the war began on October 7th,

tweeting that quote,

Gaza is the most dangerous place in the world for aid workers.

Israel has repeatedly accused Hamas and other militant groups of

embedding themselves amid the civilian population and has denied

targeting civilian infrastructure. This comes as the Israeli military, says it has

started pausing its military activity along a road in southern Gaza each day to facilitate aid deliveries.

The body of an American tourist was found in Greece over the weekend after the man had been missing for several days.

It's the latest in a string of recent cases in which tourists on Greek islands have died or gone missing.

Some had set out on hikes in very hot temperatures. Authorities are still

searching for three additional tourists who have been reported missing. One is a retired

Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff. In light of these tragedies and the

heat wave ramping up in parts of the US this week, I want to remind listeners that

heat stroke is a medical emergency and can be fatal. Symptoms include confusion, dizziness, slurred speech and

abnormal heart rates. If you see someone exhibiting these signs move them to a

cool shaded area and don't hesitate to call 911. There is fallout from a

controversial law in Florida that restricts Chinese nationals without US

green cards from buying property in the state. It went into effect last July.
