Israel says it has introduced a daily tactical pause of military

to allow aid to be distributed,

but its military operation against Hamas and Rafa continues.

Fighting has been raging in the enclave's southernmost city,

where the Israeli offensive has once again

displaced hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, deepening an already dire

humanitarian crisis. Israeli military spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari told CNN

he thinks there's enough food going into Gaza but admitted there's a problem

with distribution. He pointed the finger at international aid groups for not distributing the aid.

While they've expressed safety concerns, given the UN says at least 270 aid workers have been killed in Gaza since October.

A recent UN report also predicts half of Gaza's population

is expected to face death and starvation by mid-July. Here was Hagari's response

to that. We need to make sure together there won't be famine. I think there is

enough food to solve this problem when to find the way to make the solutions.

But we're also doing air drops, entering from the sea, going from trucks, from different places,

so it won't be only from one way, one road.
