Let's start with some of the extreme weather events in the US this week.

Water levels in South Texas are high and expected to get

higher thanks to Alberto, the season's first named storm. Since making landfall

in Central Mexico this morning, Alberto has been downgraded from a tropical

storm to a tropical depression by the National Hurricane Center.

There's a vicious heat wave hitting the Northeast right now,

calls are on the rise. Temperatures pushed into the 90s across the state on
