0:06.4	Especially this week if you've been looking forward to this week's material as much as I have then we we need to dive straight in. We're covering
0:14.2	3rd Nephi 8 through 11 today and as President Benson said 3rd Nephi 11 is the
0:19.0	greatest chapter in the entire Book of Mormon because Jesus finally comes. In our parallel Book of Mormon last days
0:26.4	this is for us the Second Coming which means prior to that event we have to endure
0:31.2	Armageddon and that's what we're going to start today.
0:34.0	Chapter 8 is where we see the massive destruction.
0:38.0	In some ways we've been moving towards Armageddon for quite a few chapters by now. We have seen the collapse of governments.
0:48.0	We have seen the rise of secret combinations. We've seen rampant wickedness and yet incredible righteousness through it all.
0:54.1	If you remember how we finished last week, you've got Nephi teaching with such power that people
0:59.2	hate him even more than usual because they can't disbelieve his words. He raises his brother from the dead, right?
1:05.0	I mean, this is some amazing stuff. This is like the two prophets in Jerusalem slain and
1:09.8	then rising after three and a half days. Some incredible parallels which means as much
1:15.9	as as excited as I am to study these chapters, I really would prefer to live through
1:20.9	them despite the fact that that means we have to endure
1:24.2	chapter 8. There are going to be some hard things to handle in the chapter where we
1:29.3	start and in the lives that we will yet live, But if we want to be here for the second
1:34.2	coming of Christ, then come what may and love it. Okay? We have to learn to endure it
1:40.9	well. And there's some amazing lessons in today's material that are going to help us get there.
1:45.0	Okay, so let's dive in. Now, like I said, chapter 8, we've already seen kind of the political, economic, this pride cycle, all those kinds of things.
