Chapter 1 and I'm noticing here that Jesus is providing for us something amazing.

We've already talked about that in a few of the previous episodes and that is his

divine power and there's a purpose he's given us that power.

He has enabled us to partake in the divine nature

so that we can live in this world rightly.

Let me read it to you.

It says his divine power has granted us all things that pertain to life and godliness

through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence.

In verse 4, this is 1st Peter chapter 1, or 2 Peter chapter 1, by which he is granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through

them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that

is in the world because of sinful desire.
