Welcome back my friends to the morning mindset. I hope you're ready to get your mind

aligned with the truth of God and we have been doing that by looking at the letter of second Peter and we're in

verse number three and four today and Peter has just revealed to us a

staggering piece of knowledge of information that God has done something incredible. He has

ordained and chosen by his divine power to grant to you and to me everything we need for life and godliness in this world.

That is an amazing thing because we feel so inept at times we feel so incapable of living a godly life and

yet God is telling us through the Apostle Peter right here that he has given us everything

we need and it comes to us he says through our knowledge of Jesus

who has called us to something higher something bigger than what we even know.

It's that he's called us to his own glory

and excellence is the way Peter says it in.

In verse number three.

So calling us to his glory

is very much an ethereal kind of a concept.

I have a hard time sometimes conceiving

what it means that God has glory. Well I think it's the whole ball of

wax. It's the the essence of his greatness is what his glory is.

In the Old Testament, when it referred to the glory of God,

it often was speaking of the physical manifestation

of all that he was in the temple or in the tabernacle that Israel traveled around

with and where God would come into to be among them and this glow this glory

radiated out of it as the tabernacle was there in the center of the
