| 0:15.4 | Welcome back my friends. Thank you for taking the time. To get your mind alive with the truth of God, that's what we're here to do and I wonder do you remember why I use this heroic sounding music in the background it's because we are on an adventure as believers in Christ it's the |
| 0:20.4 | greatest adventure of our lives it's the adventure of knowing our king, our lord, our savior, Jesus Christ. |
| 0:27.0 | And this is serious business. This is better than any Hollywood movie, better than any story or novel you've ever read because this will |
| 0:36.8 | result in our eternal salvation and our |
| 0:45.0 | Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for eternity |

| 1:47.3 | So in our day and age, we could very well have the same sort of a notion, but Peter's response was that Jesus has waited so long |
| 1:56.6 | because of his patience. He's wanting everyone to have an opportunity to come to repentance. |
| 2:03.4 | So he's waiting for more and more people |
| 2:06.7 | to come to repentance, to come to faith in him. |
| 2:09.9 | And in verse 10, where we're gonna pick up today, |
| 2:12.3 | Peter continues on that line. |
| 2:15.0 | And I can almost hear him saying this |
| 2:17.6 | with the following emphasis. |
