Welcome back once again, my friends. It is time for you and me to get our minds

aligned with the truth of God. I just want to say welcome this morning. I'm glad you're here. I truly am not because

you're listening to my voice but because you're showing an interest in getting your

heart in your mind aligned with God's truth.

That serves all of us as believers in Christ because it serves our Lord and Master Jesus Christ.

It furthers his purposes in the world because now when we have our minds aligned we are equipped

to be directed by him in the ways he wants to use us in the world in which we live.

My friends don't lose side of that. That's why this five-minute morning mindset reset is so important every single day. I encourage you to make use of it and to share it with a friend.

2nd Peter chapter 3 and we're going to be looking at verse number 9 and to me this is a great

verse of encouragement because it explains a lot of things about why it's taking so

long for Jesus to get things rolling toward the end of

history and to wrap all this up. To see because sometimes we get impatient

especially when we see suffering when loved ones

are diagnosed with cancer or passing away when the painful things of life are

happening we say Jesus why are you waiting so long why don't you come back and

fix all of this?
