Welcome back, my friends. I'm so thankful you have joined me here on the morning

mindset as we are endeavoring to get our minds aligned with the truth of God

for this day.

Let's keep that in mind.

It's just for today.

We're just trying to get ourselves online

so we can live this day before we put our head on the pillow

with Jesus as the focus and the center and the power source of our

lives because when our lives are aligned with him we're able to please him we're able to

honor him we're able to glorify him and we're able to honor him, we're able to glorify him, and we're able to make him known in the world more effectively.

We're looking at 2 Peter, chapter 3, verse number 10, and we'll probably be on this verse for a few days because it's so full.

Peter has just assured us that the day of the Lord,

and specifically he's referring to the day that Jesus returns will come and it's going to come

unsuspecting he says like a thief it's going to come in a way that we are not

ready for we're not aware of in many ways. He says,

and then when that happens, the heavens will pass away with a roar and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and

and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved.

So he's talking about space, he's talking about

the galaxy, the universe, he's talking about the things that we see at night time.

When we look up, we see the sun, we see the moon at night, we see the stars at night.

There's constellations, galaxies, all of those things that seem like

such massively big things and truly they are. But they seem like they're never
