Welcome back to the morning mindset. I am truly thankful you are here and way to go.

Truly I mean that way to go in setting side a time to be intentional about getting your mind

right for this day. You see, every day we need to get our minds on track so that we live rightly in the day.

Because how we act and how we live in the world is a direct product of what we think.

And so it's important that we get our minds align with the truth, the truth of God.

And that's what the morning mindset is here to help you do every single day of the year.

All right, we are still in 2 Peter verse number one.

Can you believe it of chapter one because there is just so much

here that we need to consider and today we're going to dig into a pretty deep

theological subject but please don't let that deter you from listening.

This is not going to be over your head. This is just truths behind the fact of our

forgiveness in Jesus Christ that I believe make a difference when we

understand them well and we understand the implications they have for us. Now in

verse number one, Peter tells us that he's writing to people who have obtained a faith that he

considers to be of equal standing with his.

And he says, we've obtained that faith by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ.

Now I find that to be a very interesting phrase.
