Summary
In today's episode Emily is sharing part 4 of the mini series of daily practices to help you create your best life and today is all about prioritizing recovery. We all need full rest days in order to feel rejuvenated. But there's things you can do daily that will help as well. Getting good sleep is one of them. She discussed this earlier this week but since sleep affects every aspect of your life, it's worth mentioning again. Foam rolling and stretching are such amazing ways to help your body to recover, especially after a hard workout. Train hard yes, but allow that muscle to recover too. Cold and hot therapy are an amazing way to help your body feel rejuvenated! You could use ice packs and a heating pad off or something like a sauna and a cold plunge or shower. Listen to the rest of this episode to hear some great ways to feel recovered and rejuvenated!
In today's episode we talk about:
- The importance of recovery and good sleep
- Foam rolling and stretching is key to recovery especially after working out
- The amazing benefits of cold and hot therapy
- Recovery in the form of self love and using sugar scrubs
- The power of power naps and the reset they provide

| 1:34.0 | shut off and turn off. If your mind is constantly stimulated and then all of a sudden you just |
| 1:38.9 | try to get in bed and go to sleep, it's going to be really difficult to actually go to sleep. |
