Summary

One of the fastest ways to accelerate your progress & increase your results is by training your brain to focus more consistently on what you want most instead of on what you want now.

This is the key to becoming stronger than your temptations & excuses.

In today's episode I'll talk about a 5-minute daily exercise to help you train your brain and I'll share a snippet of a conversation I recently had with a client on this topic. Don't miss it!

Through education, motivation, and implementation, we will bridge the gap between knowing and

Let's get started.

Hello everybody and welcome back to the Primal Potential podcast.

0:30.1

Hello from my Snowden. I am in the middle of quite a snow storm. Definitely the biggest

0:37.8

one since moving back to New England, which is appropriate since I moved in July. So that's

0:43.2

1:06.0

out of the gate with a question for you. A couple of questions actually. Do you ever feel like

1:11.7

you just don't care? Like you know you care about your goals but in the moment you just dismiss

1:17.3

them. Whatever I don't care or you feel like you're out of control. And the reason I'm asking

1:23.0

is because I've been hearing a lot of this recently and it's familiar to me because I've been there.

1:29.2

Because at times I still am there where you can't tell me I don't care about my goals but in a moment

1:36.5

I will try to tell myself. And this is how we pass off opportunities for progress and it becomes

1:42.8

tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow. I know you care very much about your goals. You wouldn't be listening

1:49.7

right now. We wouldn't be building this relationship together here of primal potential if you didn't

1:54.4

care. And yet we tell ourselves moment to moment that we just don't care. You do want your goals.

2:02.7

You do want to feel proud and confident. But we have to address these moments when for whatever

2:09.6

reason you're telling yourself and believing that in that particular moment you don't care.
