I always love trying to come up with analogies to help me understand things better.

Yes, we know.

If you think about it, is this idea that there is a natural tendency, say you have two different friends

and you become very close with both of those friends.

There is a tendency to want to bring those two friends together so that you can all hang

out together so that you can maximize your time that you get to see

them both like that's a pretty natural thing and a fairly common thing a lot of

times that's how we meet other friends is because of mutual friends right so like there like, there is something very, I don't know,

I guess natural and fundamental and essential

and universal to that sort of behavior.

But when it comes to friends, we tend to not force quite as many expectations on that, as we do on to like we need to date the same person.
