Summary
While podcasting really began in the early 2000s, it has grown dramatically over the last several years. According to some recent statistics, 62% of the U.S. population Ages 12+ have listened to a podcast, with over one third (roughly 104 million people) listening regularly. And that is just in the United States!
Podcasts come in many shapes and sizes and can be an incredibly effective marketing platform for brands, influencers, and others. Today we’re going to talk about the future of podcasting with someone who has been at the center of this movement since he founded his company in 2015.
To help me discuss this topic, I’d like to welcome Josh Nielsen, Founder & CEO at Zencastr.
