Summary
In today's solo episode, Emily is talking about love after heartbreak. She was inspired to do this episode after some questions she received on Instagram from her followers. The first question was this, "How do you open yourself up to the possibility of love again after divorce?" Emily dives deep into this question and how to not fear finding love again. The second question was, "What were your actions steps after leaving a relationship that isn't serving you?" I think it's safe to say we have all experienced heartbreak in some form or another. Listen to this episode if you are struggling with heartbreak currently or share it with a friend who is.
In this episode we talk about:
- Why divorce is so painful
- Looking at divorce in a new perspective
- The human experience contains pain but it doesn't last, it will get better
- How you can grow from heartbreak and become a better person
- Finding someone new who aligns with your core values is so important
- Feed your soul and see the bigger picture
- Feel the pain, don't numb it. Also, don't stay in the pain
- What to do after leaving a relationship that isn't serving you

| 0:00.0 | Hello, everyone and welcome to the Evolve with Emily Show. I'm your host, Emily Hayden. And I figured that I would do a small series of small topic |
| 0:22.8 | podcasts in order to get some points across in a really clear and concise way. Every single time |
| 0:29.0 | I do a Q&A on my Instagram stories, you guys really enjoy it. And sometimes I really want to link |
| 0:34.1 | you guys to a longer explanation of, you know, some written form text that I do on |
| 0:39.5 | my stories. And I get a lot of the same questions. So I figured kind of like making a little bit of a |
| 0:45.5 | library for myself, a resource, instead of, you know, kind of repeating myself on stories, |
| 0:50.4 | I could actually give you a better explanation simply by recording it for a podcast. And then also |
| 0:55.9 | you guys have a good resource to go to. So for today's mini episode, we are going to focus on two main |
| 1:02.2 | questions. The first question that I got was how to open yourself up to the possibility of love |
| 1:08.3 | again after divorce. I have so much fear. Dot, dot, dot. |
| 1:13.0 | So first and foremost, I just want to say, I'm so sorry that you've had to go through this. |
| 1:17.6 | This is one of the most heartbreaking things that I think a human can go through, especially |
| 1:23.6 | when you're somebody who you thought that was it for you, you know, and nobody goes into a |
| 1:29.8 | marriage thinking that it's not it, right? I doubt anyone actually says I do thinking, this may or may not |
| 1:36.0 | work. I'm pretty sure that when we all make that decision and those words come out of our mouths, |
| 1:40.3 | that we have full scent it. We have sent it we have full belief full hope and full |
| 1:46.9 | faith and I think that is what makes it so painful is it feels like your entire world has just |
| 1:55.2 | shattered around you everything that you believed in is not there anymore that love is lost and so I know what that feels |
| 2:04.2 | like I know the pain that you guys are going through I've been through that myself and I don't wish that |
| 2:10.2 | upon anyone but I do want to offer a little bit of a different perspective of how to think about this |
| 2:17.1 | and first and foremost all of the pain perspective of how to think about this. And first and foremost, all of the |
| 2:19.6 | pain, all of the hurt that you feel after a relationship ending, especially after a marriage |
