Yeah, and if y'all have not either listened to politics, I mean seen politics or listen to the spillover, you are really missing out because Alex has an incredibly fun, unique take on life.

And so I'm going to say, if Alex, before we get started with kind of like your relation to crime, can you tell everybody how you got started in media because when I was out there in Phoenix interviewing with you on your show, the spillover.

I learned a little bit about you over a stake, which by the way, Alex likes kind of rare. I'm going to have to say right now.

Over a stake, we talked about how you got involved in media. And I think it's a great story, especially inspiring for young women. How did you get your start?

Well, actually, I was a massive fan of a different show, not best case worst case, but I was in high school. And by the time I was graduating high school, I was a fan of a local morning show on the radio in Louisville, Kentucky.

And I listened to these hosts every single day, every morning on my way of school, and I love them. And they said that they were hiring an intern. And I said, Oh, perfect. I'm going to become an intern. I'll get college credit. I'll go to my local community college.

And then that way I can meet them. And I had been an intern for one month, 18 didn't even know how to turn a mic on nothing. And they said, I really think you should reconsider.

I was going to go into fashion and do all this stuff. But they said, I really think you should reconsider and pursue a career in radio. And so that is a whole long story. But the short version of that is that I went full time in radio.

And started hosting number one shows in the morning radio pop radio circuit and then transitioned over into the conservative movement. So I kind of work in politics. But my main thing is, yes, I'm conservative. But also I really have a gift of talking to young people and connecting with young people.

At the same time that I'm sharing conservative values on my personal shows, I also really am into storytelling. And I love everything from pop culture to true crime. And so on my podcast, the spillover, which Jim Clemente and Francie Higgs have both been guests on.

And I really got to talk to them about their stories and also crimes, of course, that they have worked on in their careers. And my audience has absolutely loved it. So my whole thing is, yes, I'm conservative. But that's not the only thing about me. Conservatives are normal.
