Summary

Hi loves!!! It’s just you and me today.  Today’s  episode is all about the things I’ve learned by my 28th birthday. This is a combination of all things wellness, relationships, quotes that have changed my life, and just a few of the things I wish I would’ve known sooner. Birthdays hold such a special place in my heart and being able to make note of these lessons each year is such a fun way to reflect on our growth. I still have so much to learn- I can’t wait to make this a tradition together each year. I hope you love this episode. xo

Hello and welcome back to another episode of Wellness Her Way. I hope you all had a great

0:46.6

Thanksgiving. I told my family that I wasn't going to be able to make it home and then I

0:51.7

ended up surprising them. So it was a lot of fun to go back for a short

0:55.2

trip and see them all. But yeah, it's just going to be me and you today. I just turned 28. And for the

1:01.9

last seven years, I've kept this journal of the number of things that I've learned on the morning

1:08.1

of my birthday that correlate with the specific age that I turned.

1:11.7

So this year, I thought it would be really fun to do it together.

1:15.5

And it's kind of just going to be like a combination of things that I've learned, things that

1:20.3

I wish I would have known sooner, and quotes that have changed my life in some way, shape, or form.

1:26.6

Also, these are going to apply to health,

1:29.4

friendships, relationships, and just life in general. I'm usually not a person that likes to

1:36.4

open journal. I like to have some type of prompt. That's why I like the five-minute journal.

1:41.2

But every year on my birthday for, like I said, the last seven years, it's been really fun to write these things out and reflect back on them. And then I hope that one day I can give it to my daughter and she can read through all the things that I learned, you know, from my 20s onward. And I'm hoping, too, that we can make this a tradition on the podcast,

2:01.8

and then, you know, I can be dropping some wisdom with my mic when I'm like 65 years old.
