And I'm Helen, one of the co-founders of Amazing If and I'm here with the other co-founder, Sarah. Hi everybody. And this week we're going to be talking

about career plans. It's a topic that's been requested from someone on Instagram. So we do listen,

we promise. And it's all about kind of the role of career plans in your career. But actually,

called career possibilities. And so today's episode is going to be all about talking about

what on earth is a career possibility, how you explore them and how you use them to your

advantage to help you have a happy career. And so I think I will maybe hand over to you, Sarah,

to talk a little bit about your career possibilities,

maybe some of the things that you've done when you've gone from career plans to career possibilities

and what that's looked like.

Yeah, that's probably a good place to start, actually.

So I'm a really natural planner.

I love to plan.

I'm actually the least spontaneous person I know.

I do not like not having plans or plans changing.

Though, you know, I'm getting more relaxed the older I get,

which is probably very clear from listening to me talk about it.

So career plans really appeal to me because I like knowing what I'm aiming for,

knowing where I'm going, and then I can think about what's the best way to get there.

And so certainly in the first 10 years of my career, I definitely did create career plans.
