Like probably fine, just leave it alone.

I think that's kind of why I'm done with that because it's sort of like, I don't want to treat my body like a project. Let it out.

Hi, welcome back. You're listening to Let It Out, a podcast that I host.

0:37.1

My name is Katie Delv Bow. If this is your

0:39.4

first time, what a weird episode to start with, but it's going to be a good one. It's a variety

0:45.7

show of sorts. As many of you know, I've been hosting this podcast for several years since 2013.

0:53.5

And a couple years ago, I started helping other people

0:56.7

start podcasts. I was advising people one-on-one, and then I made a workshop called Let a

1:03.0

podcast out. And the last time I ran the workshop, it's kind of like a writer's workshop,

1:10.0

but for podcasters where there's support

1:12.4

and community and different elements of it. There's eight audio lectures, everything from coming up

1:19.0

with a concept and naming it, interviewing, marketing it and sharing it, getting people to listen to it

1:24.8

and eventually monetizing it. And then I interviewed over a dozen other podcasters who tell about their experience and there's resources and worksheets.

1:33.9

1:38.8

through this workshop, there's live elements of it as well, of connecting and talking on the phone altogether.

1:47.5

I have a contest element where people can submit an episode of their podcast or clip of an episode

1:54.4

from a podcast that they produce over the course of the workshop, and I will air one of them

2:00.1

on this podcast channel that you're listening

2:03.2

to right now plus an interview with one that really lands and resonates with me. So this time that I

2:09.7

ran the workshop last spring through summer, I had a really interesting time with it. Something weird

2:16.5

happened. First of all, I used the

2:18.4

workshop myself to launch a podcast, which is called spiraling, that I co-host with Serena Wolf.
