Summary
In today's Monday Message, Emily is honoring the women and men of the United States military. She is talking about how some of us can take our freedoms for granted. It is so important to reground yourself in gratitude and knowing that freedom does come at a cost and many have lost their lives for us to have the freedom we have. Because we have freedom, we have the opportunity to be better. We have the ability to choose every day to do something that will change our lives or the lives of others for the better. Today, families and friends are mourning the loss of someone they loved who sacrificed their life for us to have the opportunity to pursue the desires of our hearts, the business we want to build, the family we want to create. We at the Evolve With Emily podcast are forever grateful for those who have sacrificed their lives for the people of our country and for those who continue to fight every single day to protect our freedom.

| 0:22.2 | another Monday message. Every single Monday, I bring a message of the day to you guys. So here's |
| 0:27.5 | today's message. If you are listening to this message when it goes live, then you are listening to |
| 0:32.2 | this on Memorial Day of 2022. And today's message is pretty simple. Memorial Day is a day where we honor the |
| 0:40.7 | men and women in the United States military that paid the ultimate sacrifice. They lost their |
| 0:46.5 | lives while serving in the military. So first and foremost, I want to pay my respects to all of them. |
| 0:53.1 | And so the message for today, it comes from this |
| 0:55.8 | place of re-grounding yourself in gratitude for something that I think so many of us take for granted, |
| 1:02.8 | so many of us feel so disconnected from. And that's the simple freedom that we have as being |
| 1:09.3 | Americans, living in America. We have so many things that are |
| 1:12.8 | a part of our everyday normal lives that we don't even understand. We feel so disconnected from the |
| 1:18.5 | fact that other people and other countries don't get the same freedoms that we get. And these freedoms |
| 1:24.2 | came at such a great cost. These freedoms continue to come at such a great cost. |
| 1:30.8 | So I think right now, you know, this podcast is all about personal development, |
| 1:35.2 | personal growth and personal evolution and, you know, |
| 1:37.9 | working on yourself and making these changes and making the hard decisions in life |
| 1:42.0 | and letting go of things. |
| 1:43.1 | And, you know, sometimes that can be easy |
| 1:45.3 | to get all too consumed with yourself and too consumed with all of your own stuff going on right |
| 1:51.5 | and i think sometimes those things can feel heavy and so i think it's important and it's really good |
| 1:56.2 | to ground yourself in gratitude for the things that we take for granted every single day, |
