We've been talking about leading with faith and I really chose this as a theme for this year

because it seems to me that we need a new generation of leaders. There's a leadership deficit

in our nation. Not a lack of people with titles or positions or an imagination of

authority but there is a lack of godly influence and for that to increase we need people who understand that their lives comes with

influence and they're willing to use the godliness of their lives as a factor in

that influence. So the character becomes a key component of our leadership, not our talent, not our gifts, not our physical skills or abilities, our intellectual, acumen, or the resources we can accumulate,

but the formation of our character.
